Before “scientific” ghost investigation became popular, ghost hunting used to be what happened after you and your friends got bored of playing Vampire the Masquerade and went to the local cemetery, afterwards discussing at White Castle how scared you had gotten.
This monthly newsletter is an attempt to recapture the feeling of eating Cheetos and drinking Dr. Pepper in the parking lot of some cemetery, hoping mist appears on your pictures when you get them back from the 1-Hour Photo Center. “Leave science to the scientists” is our motto.
Each issue of the Legends and Lore of Illinois will focus on a unique location and contain a factual blurb, a story involving the continuing adventures of The Fallen (an ‘elite’ team of paranormal investigators), personal experiences, trivia, as well as letters from you, the reader!
